The AVO Group was born out of a heartfelt desire to support families in need. Our founder, Sara Harrison, began this journey over 11 years ago with a simple Thanksgiving initiative, where she adopted a few families to ensure they had a warm meal. Each year, her efforts grew, and in 2024, she joined forces with two local volunteer groups, turning her small vision into a larger movement. Together, we fed over 150 people across 45 families, showcasing the incredible impact volunteers can have. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to volunteerism—every member of our team is here because they genuinely care. We believe that by working together, we can build a stronger, more supportive community, one meal and one act of kindness at a time.
